Great news, fellow Node.js enthusiasts and Alexa Skill developers! Amazon AWS has just announced a few days ago that Node.js version 12 is now supported on AWS Lambda! We now have access to a whole slew of great language features, tooling, and increased performance with an updated V8 engine.

It was just announced today that US-based Alexa skill developers have the chance to take the $300 exam fee for the AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder exam for free!

All that you have to do is publish an update to your already-published skill in the Amazon Alexa US Skill store during the month of November. Once your skill update is live, you will have 3o days to acquire 50 new unique customers. This could easily be accomplished with a few text updates, some new intent flows, and some low-key marketing on Alexa-specific forums like Reddit. Then, you will receive a voucher to take the exam for free ($300 USD).
